During the May holidays there will be changes to the working hours of customer service centres and parking lots; public transport will be free of charge on 4 May

During the May holidays, from 1 to 5 May, there will be changes in the operation of Rīgas satiksme customer service centres and parking lots, while public transport will run according to the holiday schedule during this period, as well as on 2 and 5 May. On 4 May, public transport will be free of charge for residents and visitors.

Public transport

On Sunday, 4 May, public transport will be free of charge. From 1 to 5 May it will run according to the holiday schedule. However, on 10 May, which is a postponed workday, the public transport will run according to the weekday schedule.

Parking lots

On 1, 4 and 5 May, Riga City Council’s paid parking lots, managed by Rīgas satiksme, will be free to use, except for the underground parking lot on K. Valdemāra iela 5a near the Congress Centre – parking there will be charged according to the current tariffs.

On Friday and Saturday, 2 and 3 May, the parking lots will be open as on Saturday – in tariff zones A, B, C, D from 9.00 to 17.00, in tariff zone R from 6.00 to 24.00.

Also, the parking lots in Vecāķi (zone V) will be open from 1 May. The working hours will be from 8.00 to 20.00 every day, except on public holidays. Therefore, on 1, 4 and 5 May, parking in Zone V will be free of charge.

Customer service centres

On the day before the public holiday, 30 April, the working hours of the customer service centre at Brīvības iela 49/53 will be from 8.00 to 16.00. At Pāles iela 9, it will be open from 9.00 to 15.00. The working hours of the other customer service centres will remain unchanged.

From 1 to 5 May, the working hours of the customer service centre at Stacijas laukums 2 will be from 10.00 to 18.00. All other customer service centres will be closed.
